Meet the Team

Our team knows that building trust with our furry patients and their owners comes from a place of respect and compassion. At Seaview Animal Hospital, we utilize fear-free handling techniques to build that trust. Here, fear-free isn’t just a technique; it’s a promise—a commitment to understanding and catering to the individual personalities and preferences of your pets.

Meet Kiefer Hazard, DVM (he/him)

Owner, Veterinarian

The investment it takes to build trusting relationships with owners and their pets is something Dr. Kiefer Hazard does not take for granted. He and his team work to provide excellent patient care through effective communication, thorough exams, and honesty. Growing up, he always had a love for all animals, from lizards and snakes to dogs, but it was not until he attended Texas Christian University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in science and a minor in chemistry, that his career path into veterinary medicine became more apparent. He writes, “Veterinary medicine was a career that would allow me to not only work with animals every day but also make a positive impact on their lives.” This inspired his enrollment at the Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine. There, he earned his Doctorate degree.
Dr. Hazard’s dedication to his patients’ care is evident in the consistency and work he has put into Seaview Animal Hospital. His community in Edmonds, Washington, is built on a foundation of collaborative teamwork and compassionate care that leaves an impact on the lives of every patient who walks through his door.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Hazard’s interests include horology, cycling, and gardening. He finds happiness in spending time with his daughter, Porter, whether they’re playing, exploring parks, or enjoying meals together. He also loves quiet evenings and dinner dates with his wife, Morgan, or unwinding with a good movie and his dogs.
